"For us, we’ve seen a lot of bands and artists get onto the scene, figure out something that works, and then just stick with it, I think out of a little bit of a fear," explains Slade. "We’ve been doing this for 10 years, 11 years. And if we want to do this for another 10 years, we’re going to have to keep progressing and keep growing and keep challenging ourselves."
With the help of producer Stuart Price, the Fray crafted its most consistent full-length to date, and is now ready to support “Helios” on the road for the rest of 2014. “We’ll get our fill there in the summer,” says guitarist Joe King, ” and then hopefully start writing and put another record out.”
